Deadly riots in Nigeria, sectarian violence in Iraq, anti- Christian harassment in Pakistan – are Muslims not capable of living in a diverse world? To what extent does Islam embrace diversity? What guidance does Islam provide on peaceful co-existence and respect for the Other? What contributions can British Muslims make towards creating a more tolerant, safer and just society?
