Trustee of the Muslim Women Helpline
Dr Fatima Zohra grew up and was educated in the United Kingdom, receiving her doctorate in the early 1990s. Dr Zohra, has worked with various community groups, and was a trustee of the Muslim Women Helpline, which sadly closed last year. Professionally, Dr Zohra has worked primarily in the public sector, in the field of Information Management, Equal Opportunities and Research. She is particularly keen to encourage practicing Muslim women to stand up for their "right" to learn, achieve and excel in whatever field they choose. Consequently she is currently involved in the voluntary education sector.
